The 81 acre Karriker Farm was the first Rowan County farm protected with the assistance of theย NC Farmland Preservation Trust Fund (FPTF). The FPTF was created in large part due to theย efforts of The LandTrust to assist landowners in taking the step to protect their land throughย conservation.
