The theme for RiverDance 2014 is Local Farms, Local Foods, Local Spirits. We have planned a terrific event featuring music by a group from Union County, The Flatland Tourists, catering by Morgan Ridge Vineyards, along with local chefs who will be preparing the meal using locally sourced products. In keeping with the tradition of RiverDance, our notable beverage selection will focus on local brews, Yadkin Valley wines and North Carolina produced spirits. Poppin’ John’s Homemade Ice Cream from Albemarle will be on hand with their unique “hit n’ miss engine” ice cream churn for a cool, summertime dessert.
RiverDance is The LandTrust’s premiere fundraising gala event which takes place at the historic Salisbury Depot. Join us for great food, music and more, and help us as we raise funds for land conservation in our region. Mark August 9th on your calender and make plans to attend.
