In October 2018, Three Rivers Land Trust was proud to host Major League Fishing, the #1 rated show on the Outdoor Channel. Thirty of the nation’s top anglers competed in the Lucas Oil Challenge Cup and the Yadkin and Pee Dee River chain of lakes, which includes High Rock, Tuckertown, Badin, Tillery and Blewett Falls. Major League Fishing brought our incredible fishery here in central NC to the forefront while also showcasing the beautiful natural areas, landscapes, and thriving communities of the Piedmont. Tune into the Outdoor Channel each Saturday from 2pm-4pm through July 6th to catch all the action!

Not only did Major League Fishing highlight our lakes, but it also brought awareness to the conservation efforts surrounding them. Right now, this is the site of the largest land conservation project in North Carolina.
Three Rivers Land Trust has a once-in-a-generation opportunity to conserve 4,700 acres and 76 miles of shoreline on the Yadkin River at High Rock Lake and Tuckertown Lake. We invite you to contribute to the acquisition of these lands at whatever level you are able to give, so you too can be a part of this momentous conservation achievement.
